Chloe Grace Moretz is making a name for herself as an actress with her latest movie "If I Stay" set to hit theaters soon.
However, during an interview with FLARE magazine, the 17-year-old revealed that she isn't focused on boys and dating like regular teenagers.
According to E! News, she said, "It's a tough age to fall in love: people change so quickly," adding, "I don't want to have to feel like I have to watch my step, 'cause I'm 17 and I shouldn't have to."
The blonde beauty revealed that she tries to share her beliefs with her close friends however, she explained that they do what they want in the end despite the reality of the situation.
Chloe Grace Moretz said, "I'm like, Dude, you're wasting away your entire high-school years, and now you're going to waste away your college years."
She told the magazine, "You're going to spend your entire life in a relationship and then you're going to get married...and then you're dead!"
The "Kickass 2" star added, "So you lived your life in a relationship! That's not my style."
Instead of trying to get a boyfriend, Grace Moretz has been spending her time focusing on her movie career and the fashion world.
The fashion forward starlet admitted that she loves wearing anything "fun and interesting."
However, she insisted that it is important not to judge a book by its cover, or in the case of style, a star by her outfit.
She said, "If someone wears a crazy outfit, they're automatically a crazy person," adding, "If you wear a tame outfit, you're automatically a prude."
Kristen Stewart's "Clouds of Sils Maria" costar deals with similar unwanted attention when her it comes to the paparazzi catching her with male friends.
Chloe Grace Moretz explained, "When you're with someone who's just your friend, then [the paparazzi] take photos, but when you're out with your boyfriend, they never find out."
