Ian Somerhalder may be dating Nikki Reed following his split from girlfriend Nina Dobrev. Over the weekend, "The Vampire Diaries " season 5 star and "The Twilight Saga" actress were spotted getting cozy at a Studio City, California, farmers market.

According to PEOPLE, on Sunday the pair appeared very couple like as they happily showed affection for one another as they grabbed coffee and other goodies at the market.

Ian Somerhalder, 35, was dressed down in black sweatpants, gray T-shirt and a baseball cap while Nikki Reed, 26, wore sneakers, black patterned leggings and a neon yellow tank looking as if the two were ready for a workout.

While at the farmer's market the actor touched the back of Reed's neck and whispered something in her ear, he was seen nuzzling her neck, standing closely behind her and wrapping his arm around her which she happily reached for and held on to.

Reed recently announced her divorce from "American Idol" musician Paul McDonald in March. In a statement their rep said, "After much consideration, Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald are ending their marriage. They have been living separately for the past six months due to work obligations."

The statement continued, "They will continue to share their love of music, and are still working on their debut album, I'm Not Falling, releasing in 2014. They remain best friends and look forward to their continued journey together."

Last year Ian Somerhalder split from his CW costar Nina Dobrev but the two have remained friends since their break up.

In a recent interview with Nylon magazine the brunette beauty revealed that she and her ex-boyfriend are on great terms.

She explained, "I don't like any kind of negativity," adding, "I try to be good to everyone, whether it's a love, a friend, an ex. I'll always try to treat people the way I want to be treated."

Speaking of good treatment, Nina Dobrev's ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder, seems to think she is doing a good job at being kind. He told the publication, "She always lets me have the last fry."
