We just love Chrissy Teigen interviews. John Legend's model wife never shies away from controversy, and now she is spilling how fellow models in Cannes work as high-end prostitutes for extra cash. Keep reading for more from her interview with Du Jour!
"Did you know there are hookers in Cannes who charge $30,000 a night?" she asked the interviewer.
"A lot of models go there to make their side money. I'm definitely not worth $30,000. I don't really have much to offer."
Businessman Elie Nahas, who was arrested in 2007 for running a prostitution ring, echoed these claims last year to The Hollywood Reporter.
"They can make up to $40,000 a night," he told the publication.
"Arabs are the most generous people in the world. If they like you, they will give you a lot of money."
"At Cannes, they carry money around in wads of 10,000 euros. To them, it's just like paper," Nahas continued. "They don't even like to count it. They'll just hand it to the girls without thinking."
We told you on Tuesday that Mrs. John Legend was once mistaken for a high-class hooker.
"A hotel in Los Angeles sold a story that John was at a hotel with what appeared to be a high class hooker... definitely wasn't me...and it was me! It was horrible," the model revealed.
"High class though, it was high class," she joked.
Teigen's latest venture entails being a judge on MTV's "Snack-Off," which the beautiful model describes as "'Top Chef' for stoners."
"You don't necessarily have all the ingredients that you would have on 'Top Chef' or 'Iron Chef,' like lobster... You're more so deconstructing a hot pocket and filling it with Cheetos."
Fellow judges include master chef Jason Quinn and comedian Yassir Lester. "Snack Off," which is described by MTV as "taking munchies into fully baked art form," will be hosted by Eddie Huang.
