Brody Jenner was noticeably absent from the wedding of the century, aka Kim Kardashian's lavish European wedding to Kanye West, and reports surfaced it was because he did not receive a plus one. This past weekend, the reality star raised eyebrows when he attended her ex Reggie Bush's wedding to Lilit Avagyan.

Jenner's model girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter was also in attendance.

"It was awesome," he told Us Weekly of the event. "I love Reggie. It was a great wedding. It was beautiful."

He also addressed why he attended Bush's wedding and not Kardashian's, and his answer was not what you think!

"Kim's was in Paris. I was working. Kim's was in Paris - it's as simple as that," the reality star stated.

"It's kinda ridiculous that everybody's making such a big deal out of it. Reggie's been a friend of mine for a very long time so I went to his wedding. It's all good." 

A source told the mag that "Brody and Reggie are really good friends. [Reggie] invited him months ago with a guest. In terms of Kim, one has nothing to do with the other."

Another insider added, "Kim couldn't care less about Brody going to Reggie's wedding. Brody has been friends with Reggie since Kim introduced them many years ago."

Jenner shared a photo on Instagram with his girlfriend and the happy new couple, captioned, "It's go time @kaitlynn_carter yewww @reggiebush."

It was reported in May that former "The Hills" star Jenner skipped the Kimye wedding since Carter was not invited. His brother Brandon, however, was in attendance with his wife Leah.

He also made headlines last week after revealing he staged his relationship with "The Hills" co-star Lauren Conrad.

[Lauren and I] worked together on a show called The Hills where we had to pretend like we were dating but we never dated," he told Dr. Mike Pow, co-host of his podcast.
