Jenny McCarthy has no hard feelings about being let go from "The View," as she already found a new home at Sirius XM radio! Donnie Wahlberg's fiancé will host a weekly talk show, Dirty Sexy Funny, covering all things dating, sex, parenting, and marriage.
"It's no secret that I love to talk. I'm excited to do it on SiriusXM without having to interrupt anyone or keep things clean. You can bet your sweet a** this show will live up to its title," the bombshell said in a statement.
McCarthy already has celebrity guests lined up, including the likes of Chelsea Handler, Perez Hilton, and Wahlberg. The show premieres July 16 at 6 p.m. ET on SiriusXM Stars, through the app, and online.
It was recently announced Sherry Shepherd and McCarthy were fired from "The View," and Rosie O'Donnell will be returning with veteran host Whoopi Goldberg.
Shepherd released a statement announcing her departure, reading:
"It's been seven wonderful years on 'The View' and after careful consideration it is time for me to move on. I am extremely grateful to Barbara Walters and Bill Gedde for giving me the opportunity. I look forward to the business opportunities that lay ahead for me and I am incredibly grateful to my 'View' family and my fans for supporting me on this journey."
McCarthy followed suit on twitter, writing, "If Sherri goes...I go to. #sisters."
She followed up with, "My View will be changing too. As will with many hard working folks. Thanks to everyone at the show for your dedication and an amazing year."
Elisabeth Hasselbeck slammed O'Donnell's return.
"What could ruin a vacation more than to hear news like this?" she asked last week.
"Talks about not securing the border," Hasselbeck continued. "Here in comes to The View the very woman who spit in the face of our military, spit in the face of her own network... coming back with a bunch of control ready to regain a seat at The View table."
