It's no secret that Zoe Saldana is a gorgeous actress who could have her choice of any Hollywood leading man however, the actress made the decision to secretly marry Marco Perego in England last year.

According to E! News, in the past the 36-year-old "Guardians of the Galaxy" actress has dated the likes of Bradley Cooper and Keith Britton but realized it was important "not to settle."

When it comes to her current marriage Zoe Saldana told Marie Claire's August 2014 issue, "I don't do the ABCs. I do what my heart says, what my heart feels," adding, "So from the moment I met my husband, we were together. We knew."

As far as ex-boyfriends are concerned she explained that she has ended her past relationships for a reason.

She advised women, "If you're not happy with a person, leave," adding, "And wait until you find that one person who makes you feel good about yourself every single day and is not expecting you to change, but to grow."

Although the rumored pregnant starlet did not name her past loves she revealed that she is not friends with them. Zoe Saldana explained, "I have been in relationships where a man has disrespected me, and I don't need to be friends with that man anymore.

"I don't want to be the one going, 'I'm cool, because I'm friends with all my exes.' There's a reason why you're called an ex. I crossed you off my list. Moving on."

The "Avatar" actress continued, "You cross a line, you need to know that you're going to walk this earth knowing that there's an individual who has no respect for you."

In addition to her strong views on certain topics, Zoe Saldana is known for playing strong lead characters and hopes to continue that tradition.

The brunette beauty revealed, "I would love to play Nefertiti or Cleopatra or the Queen of Sheba," adding, "We preserve more male history than we do female. We have to preserve it. No more complaining. We have to do it."
