Just because she is single doesn't mean she isn't sexy. Katie Holmes stripped down topless for her spread in the August 2014 issue of Glamour.

According to US Weekly, the 35-year-old "The Giver" cast member wore nothing but a pair of high-waisted jeans accessorized by a tan belt that was looped around her waist with her brunette hair flowing like classic '70s supermodel.

Katie Holmes, who gave the camera a genuine smile, told the magazine, "I'm always comfortable in jeans," adding, "I feel like I can really do anything when I'm in them."

The "Mania Days" star has been embracing life as a single lady following her divorce from ex-husband Tom Cruise however, she is being caution when it comes to the dating scene.

She explained, "I am really focused on motherhood and work right now." Holmes is mom to her daughter Suri Crusie, 8, who she shares with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Speaking of work, the "Miss Meadows" actress is set to star alongside some of Hollywood's finest including Meryl Streep, Taylor Swift and Jeff Bridges in the film adaptation of Lois Lowry's young adult novel, "The Giver."

Katie Holmes said, "Being in a movie with Meryl Streep was a huge dream come true," adding, "When the cameras rolled, she was spot-on and such a pro. It was just a thrill to walk on set with her."

Another highlight in her life is her little girl. Thanks to her daughter Suri, Holmes has gotten well acquainted with Disney.

She explained, "I've seen 'Frozen' a lot," adding, "But the biggest change? I think you don't know-I didn't know how much love I had in me. It's overwhelming. Every day I discover more about this spectacular human being I get to be the mother of."

Tom Cruise's ex-wife, who found fame while starring on the hit series "Dawson's Creek" revealed that her family has always been "so crucial to my outlook on life."

She explained, "I started acting at 17 and had success at an early age, where all of a sudden people knew who I was. But my parents always treated me the exact same way at home and reminded me of gratitude. And that's been a grounding force."
