Even though Pippa Middleton's life has been thrust into the spotlight, the socialite insists that her relationship with her older sister aka the Duchess of Cambridge along with her son Prince George is very normal.
According to Us Weekly, during her very first television interview, the Vanity Fair columnist told the "Today" show's anchor Matt Lauer in her first-ever television interview are just like any other sisters.
When Pippa Middleton, 30, was asked if Kate's, 32, status as a royal has affected their sibling bond she said, "Not particularly. I mean, obviously she has pressures that she's taken on and things, but we spend a lot of time together. We still do a lot together as a family.
"And I think that's sort of the heart for all of us, having a really close family. We can sort of be normal with each other, treat each other normally, and that's sort of kept us all fixed to the ground."
Lauer than asked Nico Jackson's girlfriend, "So you can call any night and say, 'Hey, Kate, it's Pippa, let's just do girl talk'?"
Middleton said, "We have a very normal sisterly relationship," adding, "We're very close. We support each other and get each other's opinions and things."
When the host brought up her nephew, Prince George the brunette beauty couldn't help but smile. When asked what it is like to be an aunt she smiled and said, "It's wonderful," adding, "He's amazing. He's a very, very dear boy. And he's brought a lot of pleasure and fun for all of us, the whole family."
When speaking of the heir to throne who will turn one years old on July 22nd Pippa Middleton said,, "He's very characterful," adding, "He's sort of brought us all together, and we love spending weekends with him. He's very funny."
