Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth have signed on for a "Snow White and the Huntsman" sequel, but noticeably absent is Kristen Stewart. According to TheWrap, if the "Twilight" star does appear in the film, it will only be a cameo.
Director Rupert Sanders was replaced as well, with "The Walking Dead" executive producer Frank Darabont. The original film grossed $400 million worldwide, and Universal plans to release the sequel in 2016.
This time we will see more of Hemsworth's Huntsman character, and Theron will revive her role as the evil queen. The title might be reworked with more emphasis on the Huntsman.
Sanders and Stewart made headlines two years ago when they were caught kissing, though they were both in relationships. Sanders was married to model Liberty Ross, with whom he has two children. Stewart was in a long-term relationship with "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson.
The actress said in a statement that her "momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob".
Sanders said he is "utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family."
Joan Rivers poked fun at Stewart for the incident in memoir "Diary of a Mad Diva."
"Many stars only do one thing well," Rivers wrote.
"Of course, the best one-trick pony is Kristen Stewart, who got a whole career by being able to juggle a director's balls."
Rivers told Splash News over the weekend that the "On The Road" actress threatened legal action.
"She obviously didn't read our disclaimer, which is that it's a comedy book," Rivers slammed Stewart. "I can't wait to get her into court because I want to get a puppet and I want her to show me on the puppet where she thinks I claimed she touched her director. So I am looking forward to it."
"I'm a comedian; I've been doing it for 50 years," she continues. "If people don't get it, then don't come and see me, and don't read the book. If you're going to take it seriously, you're a fool."
