It looks like we may never see Lady Stoneheart following the "Game of Thrones" season 4 finale. Former HBO star Michelle Fairley who played Catelyn Stark basically confirmed a major spoiler that the highly anticipated character will not be making an appearance on the popular series.

According to Hollywood Life, during a chat with Entertainment Weekly the actress said, "The character's dead," adding, "She's dead."

EW revealed that Fairley was told that the appearance of Lady Stoneheart would likely never happen. She explained, "I knew the arc, and that was it. You respect the writers' decision. I knew the arc, and that was it. They can't stick to the books 100 percent.

"It's impossible-they only have 10 hours per season. They have got to keep it dramatic and exciting, and extraneous stuff along the way gets lost in order to maintain the quality of brilliant show.

Lady Stoneheart is Catelyn Stark's reanimated corpse. After her murder in which her throat was slit at the Red Wedding, she was thrown into a river and left to float there for three days before she was pulled out by Lord Beric Dondarrion, who resurrected her by giving his life for hers.

From there Catelyn adopts the name Lady Stoneheart and joins the Brotherhood Without Banners to lead them in executing all traitors with a specific focus on the Lannisters and Freys along with anyone who associates with them.

Even though her character is dead by HBO's standards, Michelle Fairley is still a working woman. As for future projects go, the actress admitted that she has landed herself a few onscreen jobs.

She confessed, "A couple things. I've been doing other jobs while doing 24. I want to keep working, as long as it's exciting and stimulating and engaging, I want to keep doing it."
