It looks like Zac Efron with be taking his natural talent of athleticism to the small screen more specifically to reality television.
According to E! News, the "Neighbors" actor will be making an appearance on "Running Wild with Bear Grylls," which is a new NBC reality show that features host Bear Grylls and a plenty of celebrities who will venture into the wilderness for 48 hours.
The series will feature six episodes with each one an hour long focusing on a celebrity. Joining Zac Efron on the show will be the likes of Channing Tatum, Ben Stiller, Tamron Hall, Deion Sanders and Tom Arnold.
In a statement Grylls said, "'Running Wild' allows viewers to see inside the hearts and minds of the guests in an open, honest and vulnerable way, pushing them out of their comfort zones and seeing what they are like in real life when stripped of all the benefits of celebrity."
It went on to reveal, "Ultimately, this show is about taking these stars on the adventure of a lifetime and being alongside them when they discover something new and empowering about themselves and their world. For me, that is always a privilege."
In the new series we will see celebrities doing activities such as skydiving in the Catskill Mountains, repelling down cliffs in Utah and battling the elements in Scotland.
In a statement, Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late night programming at NBC said, "Bear's incredible spirit is absolutely contagious, not only with his celebrity partners but with the viewing audience as well. We can't wait to see how these epic adventures will profoundly change those who take the challenge."
Lily Collins' ex-boyfriend gave fans a preview of what they can expect when he hits the small screen as Zac Efron made the decision to share a shirtless photo of himself building a skateboard on his Twitter account last week.
Attached to the picture was the caption, "My friend taught me how to make skateboards. Stay tuned to find out how you can win one & help an incredible charity."
"Running Wild with Bear Grylls" will premiere on Monday, July 28th, on NBC.
