They sure are spending a lot of time together lately! Destiny's Child shared the spotlight again for Michelle Williams' new single, "Say Yes," and it sure took us back! Scroll down to watch the video!
The video debuted on "Good Morning America" Wednesday, also featuring Beyoncé Knowles and Kelly Rowland.
"Working together with Destiny's Child again was amazing," Williams gushed. "I am just so moved by this moment right now and to have my girls on there."
"Sometimes the director or production assistants had to say like, 'OK, girls, bring it back home. Bring it back together' because when we were together, we go back to how we were when we were younger, just always laughing and talking about things," she continued. "It's been a great moment."
Williams' upcoming album, "Journey to Freedom" drops Sept. 9, which centers on her "personal journey to freedom."
"Freedom from what was probably keeping me from being my best. It could have been bad relationships, business and personal wise. Not feeling all the way confident within myself," the songstress revealed."It's about breaking free from whatever it is that's keeping you from being the best person you can be."
"There's not enough music out there like this," Bey said. "I'm proud to be a part of it."
Rowland agreed, stating, "It's so infectious, and I think the world needs to hear it."
"Say Yes" is a remix of "When Jesus Say Yes," a Nigerian gospel hymn. Williams, who starred in "The Color Purple" and "Aida," said she chose her outfit to match the song's roots.
"This song is an African song, and this Givenchy top, in a way I like it because it almost pays homage to where the song comes from," the songstress explained.
