Although Miranda Kerr continues to insist that despite their split she and Orlando Bloom "really do love each other," she recently admitted that they do not have a perfect relationship post split.
While looking gorgeous on the cover of Net-A-Porter's The Edit she told the publication that they definitely have their ups and downs.
According to Us Weekly, she told the fashion magazine, "We all have bad days and negative emotions," adding, "But I've realized it's important to sit with it and let it pass, and if it doesn't pass, choose a thought that will help it pass. Focus on what it is that you're grateful for. Having perspective is key."
The 31-year-old credits her positivity to being "heart-centered." She explained, "I always look for the best in every situation, no matter what it is. Even if it's something that's sad, upsetting or disappointing at the time, I think, 'There's a reason for this.'"
Miranda Kerr, who separated from Orlando Bloom in October 2013 adores their son Flynn, 3. The supermodel revealed, "I feel happiest when I'm with my son at the beach or the park," adding, "Privacy is the most important thing, especially being a mother."
Although she admitted that she doesn't necessarily "define" herself as a model, she did say that she enjoys her job.
Miranda Kerr confessed, "I like being able to find different aspects of myself and expressing them through a picture," adding, "It's fun. I might as well do it while I can. It's not going to last forever."
The Australia native has taken a break from modeling to study nutrition full-time. The former Victoria's Secret Angel can now add a certified health practitioner to her resume.
The title will prove beneficial as she continues to develop her new skincare line KORA Organics. She explained, "I'm very driven," adding, "I don't ever feel stressed; I feel calm when I'm multi-tasking."
She revealed, "From my first photoshoot at 14, I never saw myself as a model," adding, "If someone asks me what I do, I say, 'I have my own skincare line.' I don't define myself as a model."
