Fans are still morning the death of Allison Argent (Crystal Reed) following the "Teen Wolf" season 3B finale and with season 4 about two weeks away her father, Chris Argent, will be dragged back into the world that took his daughter away from him.
According to Hollywood Life, cast member JR Bourne who plays Chris gave away some major spoilers on the upcoming episodes while also reflecting on Allison's absence this season.
With the tagline for season 4 being "Can't Go Back," there are so many questions about what lies ahead for characters, Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O'Brien) and more.
When asked about Chris' role this season along with his new "grief beard" the actor said,
"The easiest way to show grief is to grow a beard! I've had a lot of fun growing it, too. Well, he definitely has taken off and I think he has struggled with coming back.
"Ultimately, it's going to be Scott asking him to return ... and knowing that Kate has returned and is not coming back to go flower shopping; she's coming back with an agenda."
He continued, "So, he comes back, and with the final code that his daughter came up with: 'We protect those who can't protect themselves.' That last little bit sitting inside of him makes him realize that he has to come back."
JR Bourne revealed, "He is going to come back and again, help those who can't protect themselves. And that happens because of the Dead Pool and this new addition, The Benefactor, and everybody is a target.
"So, he comes back to basically try and deal with that. He is coming back with a tremendous amount of vengeance and anger. I think he realizes that has to be directed somewhere."
Despite returning to up hold his and Allison's code, Bourne admitted that his character will not be carrying a keepsake of his dead daughter.
He revealed, "There isn't a specific keepsake he has. I think other than what's going to be inside of his broken heart, and what is that going to make him do?
"I feel that's the deepest thing to deal with that - to let go, how does he fight closure with that? It's going to be a tough one for him."
A tough task for him and the rest of the cast will be figuring out who exactly is The Benefactor in the "Teen Wolf" season 4 storyline.
JR Bourne said their will definitely be a guessing game when it comes to figuring out the identity of the character.
He explained, "I think at times it's going to seem obvious and I think at other times its going to seem, because of the way seasons have gone, more of a shock.
"It's going to be clear as the season goes - who wants and who has the biggest desire and the most to gain from getting retribution, getting some sort of sense of satisfaction out of this."
