Miranda Lambert faced her fair share of tabloid rumors; divorce, weight loss regimens, you name it. But she does not let that stop her from topping the country charts and living her southern belle life. Find out what she had to say here!
The "Automatic" singer dropped her new album "Platinum" today, taking critics by storm.
"Platinum" is, unmistakably, Miranda Lambert. "You can't pull one over on her," Lambert's co-producer Frank Liddell told Billboard. "I can't try to make her sound different than she wants to sound. It's just all in her heart and in her gut, 'this is who I am,' and when we go in the studio, that's what you're chasing. There's nothing else really we can do but make a Miranda Lambert record, because anything straying from that path one bit, we're gonna get caught. She is, too, and she knows it."
She also explained her approach to the album, which picks up where her 2011 "Four the Record" left off.
At 30 years old, having lived and done a lot of things in my career and my life, I have a different take than at 20 when I was makin' Kerosene,'" the blonde beauty explained. "But, I also do not have near the stuff that Reba would have to say, I have so much more to learn and do. I'm just right here smack in the middle of it, hopefully. If I'm lucky, I'm in the middle of it, because I want to go so much farther and wider with my career and my empire, really."
Lambert talks a lot about personal issues she faces in songs like "Gravity is a bitch."
My fans expect me to lay it all out! I've always been happy with myself," she told Us Weekly last week. "But when I hit 30, I thought, It's not going to get easier. So I chose to get ahead of it. There's still nothing I love more than a bag of Cheetos, though! "
When it comes to her rumored divorce with Blake Shelton, the pair takes the high road and carry on.
"Tabloids kept saying I was pregnant with triplets or that Blake and I were getting a $100 million divorce," she stated. "We've learned to ignore the rumors and go on with our lives."
