Liam Payne was not one of the One Direction members caught getting high in a car, but he will assume responsibility. He took to Twitter to apologize to directioners who were ripping up concert tickets and boycotting the British boy band.
"I love my boys and maybe things have gotten a little sideways I apologise (sic) for that. We are only in our 20s we all do stupid things at this age," Payne tweeted.
"We all have a lot of growing up to do in an extreme circumstance I'm not making excuse but it's fact we are gunna fall short somewhere."
"Hopefully we stand the test of time an get it right in the end I don't take this for granted and I'm extremely grateful to be here doing this."
He concluded with, "Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us through this just know that we love you guys for it and it means the world."
A video surfaced of Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson smoking a joint and talking "contraband" after a show in Peru.
"So here we are, leaving Peru. Joint lit. Happy days!" Tomlinson says in the background while Malik takes a puff.
#ZaynInPrison was trending on Twitter shortly after the incident, however the young star did not go to jail.
Neither Malik nor Tomlinson have commented on the incident.
Is it possible Malik is trying to cope with postponing his wedding to Perrie Edwards?
She told Metro that due to schedules they would have to postpone it, but explains she loves Malik and the relationship they have.
"It makes it a bit more exciting because you don't get to see each other, so when you do see each other, you get butterflies," she told the publication "It's nice. It would be hard if we didn't feel like they were worth it."
Are you happy Payne apologized? Let us know.
