Busy Philipps is well, busy, balancing her work and home life. However, you won't hear her saying mothers with office jobs have it easier. The "Cougar Town" actress went against Gwyneth Paltrow and explained things are actually easier as an actress mom.
"God bless her, she really just says what she feels," Philipps explained to The Huffington Post. "That's her reality. That's her truth. It's just not mine. I have a different reality and a different truth."
"I don't ever feel like I have to stop myself from complaining about how hard it is to be an actress," she added. "I mean, it's not that hard."
Philipps has help from her husband and nanny, who make sure her two kids are cared for. She also loves having summers with them. How cute!
"I've said this from the beginning because I genuinely believe this - that in terms of being a working mom I've got it made," she said.
"I'm on a TV show where my hiatus is (my kids) summer so I'm free to be with them in the summer time. I'm able to afford full-time help because of what I do," the "Cougar Town" actress said. "My husband also works, and my nanny makes my life doable and so easy."
"I have nothing to complain about," she added.
"Obviously all moms have their push and their pull and their mommy guilt and 'I missed the school play because I'm shooting.' Okay, my friend missed the school play because she's a lawyer and was in court. We all have that and that's a common thread."
Philipps is married screenwriter Mark Silverstein and they have two kids, Birdie, 5, and eight month old Cricket. Aside from "Cougar Town" the beaming blonde was on "Freaks and Geeks," "Dawson's Creek," and "ER."
