If you miss "Breaking Bad," you might be in for a treat! Bryan Cranston dropped a major hint during a chat with CNN's Ashley Banfield. Caution: spoilers ahead!
Banfield asked Cranston in a segment called "The Many Faces of Bryan Cranston" if his character Walter White did in fact die in the "Breaking Bad" series finale.
"I wasn't so sure that you died. I really wasn't. Your eyes were open and I thought, 'What if the police just take him into custody, he gets better, breaks out and just goes nuts?'" she said.
"Hey, you never saw bags zip up or anything. Or say ... you know," he teased.
So is this the end of White's character?
"I don't know," Cranston replied with a smirk when asked about the possibility of a movie. Never say never, let's just say that."
Cranston has been busy since wrapping "Breaking Bad." He currently plays Lyndon B. Johnson on Broadway and stars in this summer's "Godzilla."
He was spotted earlier this week strolling Central Park with actress wife Robin Dearden.
"Breaking Bad" was a crime drama on Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher with inoperable lung cancer. He teams up with student Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul) to create and distribute methamphetamine as a means of financial stability. White wants to make sure his family's financial future is in place before he dies.
The award-winning series aired on AMC from 2008-2013. "Breaking Bad's" success spawned a prequel series, "Better Call Saul," focused on the life of Saul Goodman (played by Bob Odenkirk) prior to the events of the original. It is set to air in November.
