Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were at the face of split rumors, and they are proving that everything is just fine in a special way. The couple plan to renew their vows for their sixth anniversary in Australia. It sounds like everything is going great!
A source told OK! Magazine they want to "show their commitment to each other."
"There have been a lot of headlines suggesting that their relationship is in trouble. They want to quash them," the source said. "[They] are looking to do something on or around August 16, their sixth wedding anniversary, in Portia's home country of Australia."
"They want it to be in Sydney because the city has a big gay population, and they want to help spur the acceptance of same-sex marriage," they added.
The funny talk show host expressed to People magazine her undying love for de Rossi.
"I love her so much it kills me. The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do," DeGeneres gushed.
"She surprises me all the time. It's what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We're really lucky because we know how rare it is."
The couple married in 2008 at their LA home after four years of dating. It was a small affair of 19 guests. They bought a house in Hombly Hills, CA in January for $40 million, and recently installed a $35,000 home spa.
DeGeneres and her "Arrested Development" star wife allegedly fight about children amongst other matters. De Rossi would love to have her own children while the "Finding Nemo" actress is content without.
DeGeneres recently hosted an interactive event with Oregon State University.
