Jim Parsons was quizzed by Ellen DeGeneres on when him and his graphic designer boyfriend Todd Spiewak will wed. The pair have been dating for eleven years, but Parsons choked up on the subject!
"I don't know. That's a hard one. You get used to your life as it is," he explained to the talk show host.
"But it gets better when you're married, it really does. Don't think that it doesn't," DeGeneres teased.
"I don't think that it doesn't," he replied
"Eleven years is enough time to know!"
"The Big Bang Theory" actor plays Sheldon Cooper in the award-winning series. He came out in 2012 to The New York Times.
"He's watching - Todd," Parsons continued.
"I'm not saying he's been discouraging it. I'm not. I feel like I haven't been enthusiastic enough about it and I feel like I'm a loser for the cause."
"That's why I brought you here," she joked. "To make you feel like that. My goal is to make you feel bad about yourself and bring you down."
The conversation continued for awhile before changing to the Met Gala.
"It was the most interesting eclectic collection of people I have ever seen in my life," Parsons explained. "As a sports fan, I couldn't believe Tom Brady and Gisele were there," he said.
"I knew there was a good chance Roger Federer would be there. I was crushed that he wasn't. Crushed. I'm a huge tennis fan. But he had twins the next day. You don't want to risk twins on the red carpet I don't think."
DeGeneres then told "The Big Bang Theory" star he needs to play tennis and get married.
"When did you turn into my mother?" he joked.
