Get ready for more Jersey drama!
In a new "Real Housewives of New Jersey" trailer released by Bravo, Teresa Giudice is praying to get through legal woes with husband Joe Giudice.
"I'm in this nightmare I can't get out of," she said. "I really need protection right now. Joe and I. And the girls."
Radar reported yesterday the fraud charges against her husband were dismissed, along with the balance of the lawsuit. Former business partner Joe Mastropole originally filed a suit stating Giudice forged his signature to obtain a mortgage. However, the couple is not off the hook just yet!
"This is a HUGE victory for the Giudice family and for their ongoing criminal case that is taking new turns by the day," the reality family's legal coach and crisis manager, Wendy Feldman told the site.
The Giudice matriarch could still be sentenced to 27 months in prison, as her husband faces 46 months for mail, wire, bank, and bankruptcy fraud.
"Teresa's legal team absolutely won't let her do any interviews before the sentencing hearing because it could impact her sentence," a source explained. "If Teresa was out doing press interviews promoting RHONJ before the July 8 sentencing, it would look like she wasn't taking the process seriously, which she definitely is. After the sentence is handed down, it's expected Bravo will officially give Season Six a premiere date."
They then added, "Teresa and Joe will be keeping a very low profile... They are getting ready for the July sentencing date, and just spending time with their family," the source added. "Family is everything to Teresa and she is trying to keep things as normal as possible for her daughters."
Noticeably upset during the trailer is the couple's daughter Gia, who tells her father she wants to become a criminal lawyer when she grows up. How sad such a young girl has to live through this!
