New reports are alleging that Stacy Kiebler may be just a tad bit annoyed that her ex-boyfriend, George Clooney decided to get engaged following their break up.
According to Us Weekly, the former WWE star was surprised just like the rest of the world when it was announced that the Hollywood heartthrob proposed to British human rights attorney Amal Alamuddin.
Apparently during his relationship with Kiebler, Clooney led the blonde bombshell to believe that the two of them would get married.
A source revealed that Stacy Keibler, 34, was "irked" by her ex-boyfriend's engagement last month.
The insider explained, "When George and Stacy got together, he told her she would be the one he'd marry-and that they could have kids."
However, the couple only dated for two years before their split in July 2013. Even though the 52-year-old has a new fiancé Keibler has already moved on.
The Maxim model married businessman Jared Pobre in March and is now expecting the couple's first child, a baby girl, later this year.
Despite her split with George Clooney, friends insist that there is no bad blood between the exes.
An insider confessed, "Stacy's happy for George," adding, "She is glad he was able to find true love."
Someone who is also happy to finally see the famous Hollywood bachelor settle down is his father, broadcaster Nick Clooney.
Following his son's engagement Alamuddin, 36, Nick revealed that he and his wife, Nina, are "thrilled" to welcome the lawyer into their family.
In a statement he said, "We have had an opportunity to interact with this wonderful young woman and these are two great people," adding, "We are thrilled at their decision."
