Adele dropped a massive hint today as she turns 26; that she will see 25 again! Fans are speculating the "Rolling in the Deep" crooner will drop her sequel album to "21" this year!
In the past Adele released two albums, "19" and "21," possibly hinting that her next album will be titled "25." The numbers symbolize her age at the time of the album release.
"Bye bye 25...See you again later in the year X," the star tweeted last night along with a selfie.
Three years ago "21" dropped and went double platinum, according to Mashable. She won six Grammy Awards and mentioned then that she was working on new music.
MTV reports Adele, who parents son Angelo with Simon Konecki, has been songwriting with Phil Collins, Diane Warren, and Ryan Tedder of One Republic.
The "Secrets" singer told ABC she will release the album "on her own timetable, at her own pace."
"The only person that will ever declare it finished will be her, when she decides it's finished," Tedder stated. "I could probably guess when [Jesus] Christ is going to return more accurately than when that album will come out. And that doesn't mean it's going to be a while, it just means I have no idea."
Tedder worked with Adele in the past on "Rumour Has It" and "Turning Tables." Wiz Khalifa is also said to be featured on the album, in a "really hippie" collaboration, according to Time.
The songstress took a hiatus after the success of "21." She also sang on the James Bond track, providing the single "Skyfalls", which earned her a Golden Globe and an Oscar.
