Prince Harry and the Duke of Cambridge are heading to Memphis this weekend for their good friend Guy Pelly's wedding. The groom has planned a "guy's night out" in advance, where the newly single prince is expected to blow off steam.
Prince Harry was originally going to be accompanied by girlfriend Cressida Jones, but we learned yesterday this is no longer the case, as the pair has split.
The Telegraph reports the group will hang at a notorious rooftop party at the exclusive Peabody Hotel. It has been dubbed the "best pick up joint." They host weekly parties that attract hundreds of people.
Pelly owns Mexican restaurant Tonteria in Sloane Square and previously ran Mahiki and Whisky Mist, which are celebrity hot spots. He met the royal brothers through the Beaufort Hunt.
It is believed Kate Middleton and Prince George will be staying in the UK for the event. The family just spent three weeks hosting an Australian tour.
Pelly will wed Elizabeth Wilson, an American heiress to The Holiday Inn. It has already been dubbed "the party of the century" by local reports.
The ceremony will take place at the exclusive Memphis Hunt and Polo Club, which is close to the bride's home. It is believed the rehearsal dinner is at Rendezvous, where local police have been spotted.
Another stop is said to consist of dinner and drinks at Beale Street.
The Daily Mail reports they will also take a trip to Graceland, the former home of Elvis Presley.
"We are working on the presumption that the Royals will be here in Memphis this weekend," Memphis Mayor AC Wharton said. "We are taking all precautions to be prepared."
Poor Harry must be going through a hard time, but we're sure there will be plenty of single ladies ready to mingle with the Prince! Do you agree? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
