It looks like the engaged Kim Kardashian and her fiancé Kanye West are applying for their marriage license this week. Sources confirmed the big news as the famous couple is expected to get married in Paris on May 24th.
According to Us Weekly, a source revealed that it is really no surprise that the couple is getting their license. The insider said, "They need to do this before they leave for Paris."
Kardashian, 33, and West, 36, need to file for a license in the United States in order for the marriage to be recognized in America when they return following their Parisian wedding.
A lot has been going on for the famous pair. Aside from being parents to their adorable baby girl North West the "Yeezus" rapper proposed to the mother of his child back in 2013.
The couple went on to shoot the highly criticized "Bound 2" music video where the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star went topless for the shoot. In March, the couple landed the cover of Vogue which was also something they were criticized about.
During an interview with Ryan Seacrest that same month, Kim Kardashian talked about her upcoming nuptials.
She revealed, "We're having a super, super small, intimate wedding," adding, "As we go along, we're realizing we want it to be smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking."
She explained that at times her fiancé's involvement is difficult for her. The Kardashian Kollection designer confessed, "There's certain things where I'm like, 'I know you're going to hate the seating chart, so I'll take care of this.'"
She added, "And then there's some things that are really important to him. [But the] seating chart is like death."
