It looks like Ed Sheeran may be taking a page out of Taylor Swift's break up book and decided to bash ex-girlfriend Ellie Goulding and One Direction's Niall Horan.
According to Hollywood Life, the British singer's latest song "Don't" takes a dig at his former flame that cheated on him.
Even though the "I See Fire" singer's romance with the "Burn" songstress was short lived, the failed relationship clearly took a toll on the red head.
In the song featured on his upcoming album "X," due out on June 23rd Sheeran belts out, "I never saw him as a threat, 'til you disappeared with him to have sex."
The tune goes on to have the artist sing, "If I show courtesy and respect to someone, I expect to receive it."
The artist continued to add more fuel to the rumors that "Don't" was indeed about his ex-girlfriend during a chat with Billboard.
He explained, "The last album was more young and dewy-eyed and innocent. I've still got very nice songs on this record. But some of them are bite-y."
He told the magazine, "The story in 'Don't' is 100 percent true. I could have gotten nastier - there was more shit that I didn't put in."
Ed Sheeran revealed to the publication that his ex-girlfriend was actually fooling around with one of his friends.
He admitted, "I was seeing someone for a bit of time, and then they ended up physically involved with one of my friends in the same hotel that we were staying in, while I was downstairs."
He continued, "And I feel like: Treat people how you want to be treated."
Fans have actually been curious as to whether their was a fling between Ellie Goulding and Niall Horan who reportedly hooked up at V Festival just days before the 2013 VMAs.
However, the "One Thing" singer posted a message for his more than 17.9 million Twitter followers. He tweeted, "So many lazy and shit rumours flying around! get a grip !"
