It looks like Blake Lively is more than ready to return back into the spotlight as the former "Gossip Girl" starlet covered the April issue of Elle magazine.
Following the end of her hit CW series the beautiful blonde took a break to enjoy married life with hot husband Ryan Reynolds.
According to the New York Daily News, the actress spoke about how she felt following the end of the series. She explained, "Having a personal life has been really nice."
She continued, "I'd been on Gossip Girl 10 months a year for six years, shooting 15-hour days, so I hadn't had time to just be since I graduated from high school. It's been nice to kind of settle into my own skin and work on things I really love."
The 26-year-old actress is currently in the process of filming her first film "The Age of Adaline" following her acting hiatus.
Lively stars alongside Harrison Ford in the movie that is her first on camera job since 2012 and it seems like she is enjoying her time on the Vancouver set.
She explained, "There's a whimsical suspended reality to it that I love," adding, "And the fashion!"
She confessed, "You don't even need a title card to tell you what year it is - the clothes and the makeup are part of the storytelling."
However, Blake Lively is known for her chic personal style and admitted that it is changing. She said, "The older I get, I guess I wear less sparkles.
"And I know that someday my knees are going to look like elephant knees. But for now, my hemlines are still pretty high."
