Staff Picks: Clarissa Hamlin Shares Her Weekly Faves

I love to constantly change the beauty items on my vanity. What are the latest products that have made it through my revolving door? The last few days, Beyonce's Pulse fragrance has been back on my radar. Joining the superstar's scent, I invested in a Caudalie exfoliating scrub and another Maybelline lipstick. Click through my picks in the above slideshow, and let me know if you tried any of them!

When it comes to alluring scents, I feel like I've tried them all. Beyonce's Pulse fragrance may be an oldie to some beauty lovers, but I consider it a goodie! B has created a citrus, floral wonder that summons the smell of orchids. I spritz on the $30 eau de parfum, featuring alluring notes including pear blossom, bergamot, peony, jasmine and vanilla for a night out. The perfume has many positives: smells good, has a long-lasting aroma and is made by one of my favorite performers. Thumbs up!

Caudalie's Crushed Cabernet Scrub is making a great impression on me, too! I spent $38 for this natural formula, featured at Caudalie Vinotherapie Spa in New York City's Plaza Hotel. The treatment mixes grape seeds with brown sugar and pure Gironde honey. The scrub also has six essential oils, including juniper, cypress, lemon, rosemary, geranium and lemongrass. I apply Caudalie's creation in the shower, massaging the product with circular motions into my skin twice a week. After I rinse off, my body feels soft, supple and smooth. This product wins an award for excellence in exfoliation!

Rounding out my weekly faves is Maybelline's Color Sensational Lipstick, a highly pigmented formula for $7. With such a nourishing quality, creamy feel and rich colors, the super-popular beauty brand's products ranks high on my beauty list. The item has honey nectar, available in 68 eye-catching shades. I love the pinkish-purple hue dubbed "Bit of Berry" and darker, deeper version called "Plum Perfect."  I always apply the lipstick starting at the center of my upper lip before moving to the corners, and gliding across the lower part of my pucker.
