Now that the world knows that the Fox hit series "Glee" will be ending after season six following the death of one of its stars Cory Monteith, the rest of the cast members along has faith that the writers will end it in the right way.
According to Hollywood Life, actress Jenna Ushkowitz, who portrays Tina Cohen-Chang on the show revealed what she hopes for the series' end as well as what she's hoping doesn't happen.
"Glee" creator Ryan Murphy confirmed on October 16th that show will come to an end seeing as the cast doesn't want to "over stay their welcome" on the show, but Ushkowitz is just hoping to stay in high school a little bit longer.
While at Midori's 3rd Annual Halloween Event on October 29th at Bootsy Bellows the actress confessed, "I was super excited [at the beginning of season 3] when I heard Tina was a junior, since I thought she was going to be a senior with all the others."
The actress went on to say, "We have had an amazing journey, so it is a bit bittersweet. But I am sure that we will all stay in touch. We are still a family, but it will be very sad. But I am excited to see where we all end up."
Following the announcement of the show' end next year, sources revealed that despite the show's end the late Cory Monteith's real life girlfriend and costar Lea Michele is looking forward to a making her way to the big screen.
An insider told the celebrity gossip site, "Lea wants a movie career and she wants to make sure that the other people in the cast get enough time to save some money and spend some time to figure out what to do with their careers."
However, Jenna Ushkowitz admitted that she would be open to a variety of acting opportunities
She said, "This was my first real TV show so I am not opposed for another one," adding, "I have never done movies so I would like to try that afterwards and I will definitely go back to theater with the right show."
Although the star is looking forward for what is to come for the hit Fox series seeing as season 5 will begin to air this Thursday, she is a bit wary of what the writers have in store for the series finale.
She revealed, "Normally we allow the writers to surprise us but I would not want to see the after after years!"
Hollywood Life explained that the actress was referring to something similar to the end of "Dawson's Creek" in which the show skipped ahead five years and did sort of a where are they now segment.
Ushkowitz added, "I would like it to end the way it is supposed to be."
