Rihanna, the "Pour It Up" singer and creator of "Styled to Rock," said her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown is self-destrucing after his recent assault arrest on Sunday. The racy performer is also reportedly happy after their break up.
According to Hollywood Life, a source close to Rihanna, 25, said that the singer is glad that she doesn't have to take care of Brown, 24, anymore.
The "Love More" singer allegedly assaulted a man on Sunday, and was arrested on the felony charge. The Bajan beauty believes his latest controversy is just more proof that Brown is a "sinking ship."
"Once again she's relieved she's not involved," said the source to HL exclusively. "She's given up on all that drama and is so happy she's not part of the foolishness."
Given that Brown is no longer Rihanna's concern, the singer has moved on, but she still wishes him good things.
"She doesn't want to see him without his freedom," continued the source. "She hates to see people who are self-destructive but it looks like that is the case."
According to the New York Daily News, Brown and his bodyguard stand accused of attacking a male in Washington D.C.
The man claimed that a hotheaded Brown broke his nose. Since the crooner is still on probation from his 2009 assault on Rihanna, he could face up to four years in prison if found guilty.
