Jim Parsons, "The Big Bang Theory" star, thanked his boyfriend during his "Best in a Comedy" series acceptance speech during the 2013 Emmy Awards. The actor referred to his longtime love, Todd Speiwak as his "favorite person."
According to US Weekly, Kaley Cuoco's co-star, 40, acknowledged his boyfriend, Spiewak after thanking several other people at Los Angeles' Nokia Theater during Sunday night's award show.
Parsons had just won "Best Actor in a Comedy Series" for his super-popular "Big Bang" role as Sheldon. He beat out Don Cheadle, Louis C.K., Alec Baldwin, Jason Bateman and Matt LeBlanc to win the category, thanking his other half for all his support.
"[Thanks] to my favorite person on the planet, Todd Spiewak," Parsons said into the mic.
From his acceptance speech, it was clear that Parsons had won Spiewak's heart, US reported.
Parsons also thanked several of his costars, family members and manager during the speech. But the most memorable part of what the actor said was the special shout-out to his love of more than 10 years.
The three-time Emmy winner quietly came out as gay during an interview with the New York Times in May 2012. Parsons has not spoken much publicly about his boyfriend, but Spiewak has been by the actor's side at several award shows and other events, US reported.
Parsons acknowledged Spiewak during his 2011 Emmy speech as well.
