Handpicked by Karl Lagerfeld, Cara Delevingne strikes many poses in Fendi's newest ad campaign.
The model-of-the-moment, 20, joins Saskia de Brauw as the brand's Fall 2013 faces, according to Women's Wear Daily. Photographed by Chanel's creative chief, the "Roman Skyline" campaign was shot in Rome, honoring the Italian fashion house's roots and showing off the city's vistas and legendary sights. Delevingne appeared to be the "Queen of the World" while looking down at the city below her from atop a skyscraper.
Perched on the building's roof, Delevingne plays above the ancient city. In one look, she wore a high-structured and detailed fur coat with a high ponytail to the side while glaring into the camera lens.
In another look, she sits in a diagonal pose with a striped scarf, orange-and-white, striped furry shoes, and a head-tossing, hot-pink bag. She dished up innocence, mixed with a fierce facial expression, in the shot. But, the young and sought-after poser can go even edgier.
Powerfully, she stretches out her long arms in a black, high-slitted frock while overlooking the streets below her. The photo shows her with a carefree spirit, but in total control of her surroundings as if she is royalty looking out at her kingdom.
'With this eye-catching photo shoot, and other covetable spots with major runway labels from Mulberry to Saint Laurent, the young stunner "seems like she's on the way to manning every single campaign in our fall magazine issues," reported Refinery29.
She is on "top model form," according to Grazia Daily UK, all over every glossy and playing the perfect muse for every designer lately. Delevingne walked in Fendi's Autumn 2013 show at Milan Fashion Week, making their casting decision into an expected one. And she is already getting rave reviews for her on-camera performance.
