Mayim Bialik, of CBS' "The Big Bang Theory," legally called it quits with husband, Michael Stone by finalizing their divorce late last week.
She signed off on documents to divide their Los Angeles property evenly, according to US Magazine. She sounded optimistic about the split as if she had come to terms with it.
"It's going okay," she told US at Entertainment Weekly's Screen Actors Guild Awards pre-party on Jan. 26. "I mean, I have to say, I give both of us a lot of credit for putting our kids first. It's not easy, but we're doing okay, so thank God."
The couple, who were married for nine years, have two young sons, 7-year-old Miles and 4-year-old Fred. She filed papers to start the separation process in November though it was a "terribly sad" decision.
"After much consideration and soul-searching, Michael and I have arrived at the decision to divorce due to "irreconcilable differences," the former "Blossom" actress said. "Divorce is terribly sad, painful and incomprehensible for children. It's not something we have decided lightly."
What was decided in an amiable manner was the property division, which Bialik got the couple's 1,400-square-foot, 1-bedroom pad in Studio City, according to TMZ. Stone got the 1,300-square-foot, 3-bedroom house in Sherman Oaks.
But though they are acting civilized in having finalized the divorce, the funny actress is not in a rush to get back out on the dating scene, she also told US.
