Model Chrissy Teigen found a refreshingly funny way to deal with the recent swirling rumors about her singer fiance John Legend's alleged infidelity, according to E! Online.
The leggy beauty used jokes and wit to fight back against what she said was a false story by the New York Post. Yesterday, the newspaper claimed that Legend had cheated on her with an unknown blonde woman in a New York City club bathroom. However, according to the Huffington Post, the newspaper claimed the alleged steamy discretion was a make out session that went down at Acme, a popular Manhattan restaurant.
No matter what the explanation, the Sports Ilustrated swinsuit model did not shy away from the controversial claim but faced it head on.
"Just read that John cheated on me in the uber-credible Post," she tweeted. "I am heartbroken as it's definitely not typical Post...The @nypost is normally so kind to me." Her remaining angry statements and jokes had some foul language, and she even faked and fabricated a mock-accusation of her man in plotting her supposed death. "@Johnlegend my tummy hurts and I think it's the chicken you made me last night are you trying to kill me so you can be with your bathroom girlfriend," she tweeted.
Legend responded quickly. "My tummy kinda hurts too," he tweeted. "It was a murder-suicide attempt." They went into back-and-forth mode: Teigen asked when he would give a Vanessa Bryant-like diamond rock to her, and Legend responded "soon" though the "ring would be smaller to reflect how much richer Kobe is."
The Twitter conversation and other preceding reports hint at the lovebirds being very happy. Recently, Legend dedicated a song, "All of Me," to his fiance, and Teigen responded that it made her cry.
