Rihanna is back on her Diamonds World Tour after her bout with laryngitis after rocking out Hartford's XL Center Friday night.
"This is happening," Rihanna said, at the outset of the show. "The Diamonds World Tour is real, right now."
The singer worked 26 songs for the crowd and rapper A$AP Rocky opened the show with a 45 minute set. After canceling recent shows in Boston and Baltimore, Rihanna looks ready to push on with her tour. She also performed this past Wednesday in Philadelphia.
Her own music career reaching new heights, Rihanna will be helping her model friend Cara Delevingne get into the music business, apparently. The British model is supposedly in talks about moving into Rihanna's $8 million Los Angeles mansion after her current fashion commitments. Ri-Ri reportedly introduced Delevingne to Chris Brown as well in order to help her get started.
A source told Grazia magazine, "She will have her own walk-in wardrobe and RiRi's said she can stay as long as she wants."
"Even though Rihanna will be busy with her tour, she's going to introduce Cara to some top industry names, including her boyfriend Chris Brown."
"She's also going to take her to the studio to lay down some tracks."
Rihanna reportedly has a reserved a wing for Delevingne to stay in during her stay at her LA home.
Recently, the singer has showed she's got plenty of her own fashion sense.
Though she has only made it to the stage for three shows of her 27-city Diamonds World Tour so far, Rihanna's looks have been stealing the show-typical for the Barbadian beauty. Urban culture, haute culture and urban sportswear mix together for Ri-Ri's unique look that has also featured plenty of Givenchy attire.
They may not be as ridiculous as Kanye West in his Givenchy skirt, but Rihanna's looks have been stunning, to say the least.
Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci helped design Rihanna's first look-an all-black ensemble made up of "a black and white leather bra with gold star embellishments, a sheer black silk shirt, gold embroidered satin shorts, and a gold shark tooth necklace engraved with the singer's nickname 'RIRI,' according to Tisci.
"I enjoyed making these looks," Tisci told WWD. "Rihanna represents what young and amazing means today. She is punk and talented. She offers intelligence, energy and pure beauty. She is the face of her generation."
