Model/Actress Zoe Kravitz has teamed up with crystal brand Swarovski to create a jewelry capsule collection. The line of jewelry will feature necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings and will retail from $90-$194.
The nine-piece collection in Swarovski crystals and embellished with the model's birthstones - turquoise and tanzanite, has a very young and boho touch amplified by its striking colors of blue and green and scream "fun."
"My style is based off of what I'm inspired by at the moment so it's constantly evolving and changing," Kravitz told Elle. "I'm into layering and mixing different styles, like lots of jewelry with a really simple outfit or bright colors with a black solid color. I like the idea of a pop, and jewelry really helps with that. This collection is definitely meant to be layered. Everything's really simple so that you can wear a lot of it without it being overbearing."
She also revealed that her inspiration came from all the places she wants to visit, which includes India and Morocco. "Those countries have such vivid landscapes so I wanted to pull in color from there," she told WWD.
The 23-year-old daughter of singer Lenny Kravitz is not just designing the collection but is also the face of its ad campaign shot by Guy Aroch.
The "X-Men: First Class" actress describes her personal style as casual and fun. "Sometimes there is beauty in simplicity and sometimes it's fun to pile it all on," she said.
Kravitz's collection will debut at Swarovski Crystallized stores in Austria, London and New York and on Swarovski's site.
Kravitz is familiar with the fashion world through her modeling career as well as her stint as the face of Vera Wang's Princess fragrance in 2009 and 2011. She also starred in an apparel campaign for Alexander Wang in 2010.
