Well, Lil Wayne has been kicked out of yet another basketball stadium.
The New Orleans rapper and avid basketball fan has reportedly been banned from attending NBA games for a beef that he has with members of the Miami Heat, and took his frustration public last night at All Star weekend. The kicker—he says he had an affair with Heat forward Chris Bosh's wife. Wayne took the stage last night with confidant Drake for a performance and told the fans, "the NBA banned me from all NBA events because the Miami Heat told them to ban me."
Last week, the rapper was kicked out of a Heat game because he said he was rooting for the Lakers, but conflicting reports claim he was shown the exit because of a gun gesture he made at another fan. This was not the first time he has been barred from a basketball game. In last season's playoffs, Weezy was given the boot from an Oklahoma City Thunder game against the San Antonio Spurs. He tweeted, "Going to go to the Thunder game tonight but was denied by the team to be in their arena. Wow." However, a Thunder representative made it clear he was not allowed in because he did not have a ticket. "We did not deny him," the Thunder representative told TMZ, "His representatives contacted us about court side tickets and we told them we are completely sold out."
Later in the rapper's performance, he went on to get the crowd to repeat him in his chants of disdain for several Heat players before finishing by claiming he slept with Bosh's wife, Adrienne Williams Bosh. Considering Chris Bosh is usually at the blunt end of varying jokes for being the lesser of the stars of Miami's "Big Three" All Stars, which also includes LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, it's probably more talk than substance from Lil Wayne.
Two simple rules for attending sports games, Weezy: Buy a ticket and just enjoy the game!
