Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's Icy Valentine, Robsten Allegedly On The Verge of Breakup

Robert Pattinson reportedly didn’t gift Kristen Stewart anything on Valentine's Day, and the "Twilight" starlet spent the most romantic day of the year with her mother and brother instead, according to insiders.

All eyes are on the reconciled duo's rocky romance, as Pattinson has been filming his new film "The Rover" in Australia for a month while Stewart remains in the U.S.

Even though the 22-year-old actress is missing her 26-year-old beau "terribly," she is not visiting him because Kristen is "smart enough to know that if she goes to visit, it will bring too much unwanted attention to the film," a source told E! News.

For the love-filled Valentine's Day, Robsten fans may have expected the sexy couple to reunite in Australia. However, not only did Stewart reportedly spend it with her family members, she didn’t get any gift from Pattinson.

“Kristen spent the day with her mom, and her little brother,” a source told Hollwood Life.

“As far as I know, she didn’t get any Valentine’s Day gifts from Rob. She’s been hanging out with her mom a lot lately. I think her mom is really comforting and supportive. And so is her brother.”

While breakup rumors continue to swirl around the reconciled duo, Pattinson and Stewart are schedule to be reunited for the promotion of "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2" DVD release.

In order to meet "Twilight" fans' expectations for the on-screen and off-screen couple's harmony, Executives at Summit Entertainment are trying to make sure Rob and Kristen put on a united front, according to Hollywood Life.

“They want both Rob & Kristen to be seen somewhere together right before the release of the DVD in March, and they think they will be able to get that achieved whether they are rekindled or broken up," the source said.

Rob has reportedly been struggling with fully forgiving Kristen for her cheating scandal with Rupert Sanders last summer. According to Hollywood Life sources, the British actor is close to "done" with the relationship.

Since Pattinson departed to Australia in mid January, their romance has been on a thin ice, but their sexy Skype sessions have helped fuel their love.

"No doubt their sexy sessions have saved them," an insider told OK!

"With Skype, they'll share their day with each other and flirt outrageously."
