Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon Smoke in Public a Year After mother Whitney Houston’s Death

Late songstress Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina and foster son Nick Gordon were seen sharing a cigarette in public in Atlanta, a year after Houston's tragic death.

The 19-year-old first lighted up the cigarette and took a drag before passing it to former fiancé Gordon, reports Perez Hilton. The duo seemed to be shopping and Gordon was seen lugging around a flat-screen television while Kristina held on to a small blue carry bag.

Kristina recently made news for slamming her grandmother, Cissy Houston, and her tell-all book "Remembering Whitney" and calling it insulting to her mother. The book talks about the singer's battle with drug abuse, rumors of her lesbian relationship and marriage to Bobby Brown. Kristina took to Twitter to vent out her feelings.

"ANYTHING concerning mygrandmothersBook•I& @nickdgordon OFCOURSE personally haveNOTHING2dowith• I ask youplsRESPECT tht•Haven't read&won't," she posted, later adding, "I find it 2B Disrespect2MYMOTHER & me being HERDAUGHTER won't tolerate it. I LOVEYOUALL for your support though & I thank you immensely••xO!"

Kristina herself has been slammed before for dating Gordon who is also her adopted brother. The relationship was also criticized by her family.

"[Bobbi Kristina] and I are not engaged or dating. Just close like we have always been," Gordon tweeted after the split.

Houston, 48, was found unconscious submerged in a bath tub of her hotel suite at Beverly Hilton Hotel Feb. 11, 2012 and later pronounced dead. The cause of the death was ruled as "accidental drowning," which has been challenged by private investigator Paul Huebl but is yet to reach a conclusion in the court.

On Houston's death anniversary, various celebs tweeted their remembrance and fans gathered at Newark to celebrate the singer's life, according to newjersey.news12.com.
