Following Steve Jobs' fruitarian diet in a bid to realistically portray him in the upcoming biopic has landed Ashton Kutcher in a hospital.
"First of all, the fruitarian diet can lead to like severe issues," Kutcher told USA Today. "I went to the hospital like two days before we started shooting the movie. I was like doubled over in pain. My pancreas levels were completely out of whack. It was really terrifying ... considering everything."
Not only did the 34-year-old change his diet but he also studied numerous footages of the late Jobs and found a lot of similarities in character. The biopic, "Jobs" is set to hit theaters in April but has already been criticized by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak who believes that the film has gone too far from the truth.
The fruit diet is one of the most common diets that is followed by health conscious people. Numerous celebs have spoken about the things they stay away from to stay in shape, right from carbs to proteins.
German fashion designer and creative director for the fashion house Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, had once spoken about how he banks on Diet Coke to ward off hunger. Actress Audrey Hepburn, who we all drooled over in "Breakfast at Tiffany's," maintained that enviable figure by tucking into just fruits and vegetables and an occasional dark chocolate or pasta.
Numerous people around the world go on numerous diets like the General Motors (GM) diet, Russian Diet, lemonade diet etc, without knowing the repercussions. The body image and size zero plays a major role in encouraging people to go on these diets.
