Britney Spears announced she and Jason Trawick have broken up, ending their one year engagement.
Britney Spears representative Jeff Raymond confirmed Jason and Britney's breakup to People stating "Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have mutually agreed to end their one-year engagement. As two mature adults, they came to the difficult decision to go their separate ways while continuing to remain friends." Spears and Trawick got engaged in December of 2011, after Jason quit his professional relationship as the singer managing agent.
Britney recently stated that "Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement," adding, "I'll always adore him." Trawick said "as this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever."
According to TMZ the couple "grew apart," with both cutting off their professional relationship with Britney leaving Trawick's William Morris Agency for Creative Artist. Sources confirm Jason is no longer the 31 year-old Spears co-conservator. The sources close to Britney pointed out one of the major divide in the couples relationship was that Trawick did not want to have children, While the "Strangest Love," singer wanted more creating tension and arguments, "Britney loves her boys and desperately wants more kids," Jason on the other hand is "in another place," and does not want to start a family.
