Deborah Lippmann, the go-to manicurist of Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, and more, revealed the nail colors set to spark a trend in winter 2024/2025.
In an interview with Bustle, Lippmann teases mani lovers to prepare for a major switch this upcoming cold season - as the latest trend will lean towards cooler and darker tones.
Here are Nail Colors to Try this Winter:
Ice Princess Pastel Blue
While this color is usually more fitting for the spring and summer, Lippman claimed that this will be this upcoming season's "dark horse."
"I'm seeing more polish colors crossing over and becoming the 'it' color outside of its season," said the manicurist.
Describing it as "rich blues," Edwards added this to her list, crediting Hailey Bieber's recent viral manicure wearing OPI’s Nail Lacquer in Midnight Mantra.
Metallic Pine Green

During the winter, nail lovers can match the Christmas holiday with a pine tree metallic green manicure. Lippman offers the perfect shade from her own brand, the Gel Lab Pro Nail Polish in Dream Weaver.
Dark Purple
Another cool-toned nail color that will be a big hit in the cold conditions is the relative of sapphire blue, the dark amethyst-esque purple, said Lippman.
Cool-Toned Stormy Gray
Last but not least, Edwards can envision that this year will be the return of "stone nails," and salons can expect beauty customers to ask for mani in the shades of stormy gray.
