Truffle and pineapple have emerged as the fastest-growing ingredients for face serums in the United States, according to beauty trend tracker Spate.

Truffle-based face serums have seen a notable surge in popularity. On average, there are 660 monthly searches for truffle serums, indicating a robust interest in these products, Spate reported.

This category has experienced an astounding growth rate of 9,900%. Leading the search trends are products like Byroe Truffle Eye Serum, Skin & Co Truffle Serum reviews, and Skin & Co Truffle Therapy Serum.

Spate suggested that the current fascination with truffle-infused skincare products may be attributed to their association with opulence and luxury, similar to the allure of caviar-based products.

Meanwhile, pineapple is another ingredient gaining traction in the skincare industry. Pineapple serums garner an average of 1,700 monthly searches, reflecting a significant 233.9% increase compared to the previous year.

Consumers are exploring various pineapple serum formulations, such as Pineapple C Bright Serum, Pineapple Glow Serum, and Pineapple Peptide Nectar, which are touted for addressing a range of skincare concerns.

Analysts believe that the appeal of pineapple in skincare lies not just in the fruit itself but in its combination with vitamin C and peptides, ingredients known for their beneficial effects on the skin.

The rise of these ingredients highlights a broader trend in the skincare market toward  products that promise both efficacy and a touch of luxury.

As consumers become more informed and discerning about the ingredients in their skincare products, the demand for innovative and high-quality formulations continues to grow.

This development opens new opportunities for skincare brands to capitalize on the popularity of truffle and pineapple by incorporating these ingredients into their product lines.

With the skincare industry constantly evolving, it remains to be seen how long these trends will sustain and what new ingredients might capture consumer interest in the future.
