Mugler has released a new iteration of its Alien perfume.
The new launch is called Alien Hypersense Eau de Parfum. This is a floral and woody scent that was designed by master perfumer Dominique Ropion.
When it comes to the design and creation of this perfume, according to Mugler, Ropion said, "I designed an ultra-modern Alien, reaching the quintessence of florality."
Mugler Alien Hypersense Eau de Parfum was created to "awaken the senses" of the user, according to its description.
The top notes of the perfume are refreshing green mandarin and crisp pear accord. As you get into the heart notes, you'll find notes of feminine and floral jasmine sambac. It is worth noting that this is Alien's signature flower. At the base, you'll find warming and cozy cashmeran.
To get the full experience when using the Mugler Alien Hypersense Eau de Parfum, you are supposed to create a cloud of the scent and then walk into it, which makes this stand out among other scents.
Other than the incredible scent, we also need to talk about how brilliant the packaging is. The bottle is technicolor and color-shifting, which is super cool. You'll find it shifting from purple to red to orange, giving it almost a sunrise or sunset look. We love how modern and edgy the bottle is, and it is easy to picture how great it would look in your collection.
We also love that this perfume was designed to be refillable. The 100-milliliter bottles were created to be refills for whatever size of the scent you choose.
If you are curious about the refill process, Mugler said on its website that you take off the cap, align the cartridge and the bottle, and pour. Once you've poured, you just throw the cap back on.
A bottle of the Mugler Alien Hypersense Eau de Parfum costs from $35 to $185. The scent comes in five different sizes, with the smallest amount being 10 milliliters.
