For Kim Kardashian's daughter North West, honesty is the best policy, even if that means snitching on her own mother.
In the latest episode of "The Kardashians," Kendall Jenner shared that North, 10, told her that Kardashian did not like her 2023 Met Gala outfit.
"Kim was telling me like all night, she's like, 'No, no, no, it's great, it's great, your look is great. I love it, I love it, I love it,'" Jenner said. "And then North and Penelope were in my room after, and I go, 'Oh guys, like, who was your favorite of the night?' And they were like, 'You were actually our favorite.'"
"And I was like, 'Your mom said she really liked my look too,'" the 28-year-old model continued. "She goes, 'She was lying. She told me she did not like your look.'"
Jenner said she was taken aback, but she brushed it off because her look was North's favorite and "that's all that matters" to her.
In the same episode, Kardashian confronted North about her spilling the tea and gave her a lesson about loyalty while they were at a hotel after the Met Gala.
"By the way, North, you need to have some loyalty," Kardashian told her daughter. "When mommy talks s--t about other people, you cannot go tell them."
The Skims founder asked North why she told her "Auntie Kendall" about her not liking the model's Met Gala outfit, adding, "There's like a thing about honesty, and there's a thing about loyalty, of like, having your momma's back."
North responded, "Well, you never told me to not tell. I always don't tell when you say to not tell."
Afterward, Kardashian clarified her comments, explaining that Jenner had presented her with two choices for her Met Gala look, a black-and-white outfit and an all-white ensemble, seeking her opinion.
"So, I said, 'Wow, I liked the white one better,'" the reality star explained. "And shady little North tells her that."
At this year's Met Gala, Jenner walked the red carpet in a black sequined bodysuit by Marc Jacobs featuring dramatic, floor-length sleeves.
The model, who had paired her ensemble with towering platform boots, admitted in the episode that she felt quite anxious about them because they could get "kinda wobbly."
The look, according to Vogue, was inspired by '90s swimwear designs by Karl Lagerfield, who was honored at this year's event.
