"The Crown" star Meg Bellamy channeled Kate Middleton's understated elegance at the hit Neflix series' Season 6 premiere over the weekend.
Bellamy donned a sheer black Stella McCartney gown adorned with crystals and featuring a plunging neckline for the blue carpet of "The Crown's" Season 6, part 1 premiere Sunday at the Regency Village Theater in Los Angeles.
Her stylist, Felicity Kay, added a touch of sophistication to Bellamy's ensemble by incorporating jewelry pieces from Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co., Alighieri, and Daniella Draper, according to Harper's Bazaar.
The actress finished off the elegant look with her brown hair worn down - similar to that of Princess Kate's - and understated makeup that was subtly enhanced by cherry-colored lips, accentuating her features.
Just like the real Princess of Wales, the actress also wore a red pobby pin to mark Remembrance Day weekend in the United Kingdom.
Every November, Princess Kate and other members of the British royal family adhere to the tradition of wearing the pin during both the Festival of Remembrance and the National Service of Remembrance. This symbolic act serves to honor and commemorate military personnel who lost their lives in wars.
Meanwhile, Bellamy's on-screen partner, Ed McVey, who portrays Prince William, also made his red carpet debut at the premiere in a white long-sleeved polo from Valentino embellished with black floral accents and Mejuri jewelry, complementing his co-star ensemble.
Prince Harry's portrayer, Luther Ford, opted to wear a stylish all-black Saint Laurent sleeveless top and slacks.
Elizabeth Debicki, who plays Princess Diana in "The Crown" Season 6, stunned in a black Bottega Veneta dress and a pair of Manolo Blahnik stilettos, reminiscent of Princess Diana's iconic revenge dress.
In its sixth and final season, Netflix's "The Crown" is expected to cover Princess Diana's final days, the union of Prince Charles and Camilla, Queen Elizabeth's Golden Jubilee, the deaths of Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother, and the burgeoning university romance between Prince William and Middleton.
There will be two parts to the season. The first four episodes will premiere on Nov. 16, while the remaining six will premiere on Dec. 14.
"The Crown's" first-ever episode aired on Nov. 14, 2016. Since then, it has evolved into one of the most critically acclaimed productions in U.K. history, securing Netflix's first Emmy for best drama and taking home all seven major awards at the 2021 Emmy Awards.
