With the stigma around plastic surgery and cosmetic work quickly disappearing, it's no longer a surprise to hear about celebrities, influencers and even regular people getting work done to enhance their appearance.
However, there is a long list of stars who have admitted to regretting going under the knife to alter their faces and bodies, with the majority of them experiencing some of the negative outcomes of plastic surgery.
Here are 11 celebrities who have shared their regrets over getting plastic surgery.
1. Kylie Jenner
In an episode of "The Kardashians" released this year, Kylie Jenner admitted to her best friend, Stassie Karanikolaou, that she had undergone breast enhancement surgery in 2017, just a year before giving birth to her daughter Stormi. The 26-year-old business mogul expressed her regret about the decision.
"I got my breasts done before Stormi," Jenner said. "I had beautiful breasts, just gorgeous. I just wish I had never got them done to begin with."
The TV personality also gave viewers thinking of going under the knife some advice.
"I would recommend everyone who is thinking to [have plastic surgery done] wait until after children," she said. "I have a daughter too. I would be heartbroken if she wanted to get her body done at 19."
2. Bella Hadid

While addressing accusations that she got work done after giving birth to her son Wave, Cardi B revealed on Instagram Live session in 2022 that she had 95% of her butt injections removed. She previously told GQ that she got illegal injections in a basement in New York City for $800 in 2014.
"In August, I [got] surgery and I removed 95% of my biopolymers," she explained during her livestream. "If you don't know what it is, it's a-- shots. It was a really crazy process."
Cardi then proceeded to warn young girls against undergoing the procedure.
"All I'm going to say is that if you're young - if you 19, 20, 21 - and sometimes you're too skinny, and you be like, 'Oh my god, I don't have enough fat to put in my a-- and everything, and you resort to a-- shots, b---h, don't f-----g do it," the rapper said.
Cardi B vehemently opposes the use of ass shots or biopolymers, stating, "I am super, super, super against motherf-----g a-- shots. I am super against biopolymers."
Her stance stems from personal experience, revealing that gaining weight during childbirth led her to have the biopolymers removed from her body by doctors.
4. Victoria Beckham
In an essay for British Vogue in 2017, fashion designer Victoria Beckham conveyed a message to her younger self. She advised the 18-year-old version of herself to embrace and celebrate her natural attributes, specifically cautioning against altering her body.

"American Pie" actress Tara Reid told Us Weekly in 2006 that she had gotten botched breast implants and body contouring two years prior.
She revealed that she asked her surgeon for "big Bs" but was given "Cs," which she did not want.
The "Taradise'' star also got body contouring done by the same surgeon, which she said resulred in her stomach experiencing significant rippling and bulging. Describing the aftermath, she told the magazine that she suffered a hernia, which prevented her from wearing a bikini and, consequently, led to a substantial loss of work opportunities.

Indian actress and Miss World 2000 winner Priyanka Chopra was also a victim of "plastic surgery gone wrong." She admitted on "The Howard Stern Show" that a botched nose surgery drastically altered her face to the point that she thought her acting career was over.

She also said that the reason why she had plastic surgery done was because a cameraman once told her she had puffy eyes.
10. Ashley Tisdale
"High School Musical" star Ashley Tisdale took to Instagram in 2020 to share to her followers that she had undergone breast enhancement surgery. "Prior to the surgery, I constantly felt my body was less than, and thought this change would make me feel more whole and more secure about myself. And for a short period of time...it did. But little by little I began struggling with minor health issues that just were not adding up," Tisdale captioned a photo of herself.
11. Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj is the latest celebrity to admit that she regrets going under the knife.
She told the hosts of the "Run-Through With Vogue" podcast that seeing her son, whom she calls "Papa Bear," reminded her of herself so much that she could not believe she used to dislike the way she looked.
"I guarantee you, if you change anything on your body and do anything surgical and all this, you're going to - more than likely, not definitely, more than likely - look back one day and say, 'I was fine just the way I was,'" the rapper said. "And that's what happened to me. I could not believe even some of the photos that I didn't love."
In her new interview with Vogue, Minaj said she recently got a breast reduction. "I love it. I used to want a bigger butt, and now I look back and realize how silly that was," she told the magazine. "Love your curves, and love your non-curves. There's nothing wrong with any of it."
