Golden Globes 2021: All The Drugstore Beauty Products That Celebrities Used

Tina Fey was one of the hosts of this year's Golden Globe Awards.

For the 78th annual Golden Globe Awards, movie and television stars dressed to impress and put their best faces forward. While these big names have access to the best beauty products, their makeup artists have perfected the art of mixing high-end and drugstore makeup to create stunning red carpet looks.

Just as anyone will agree, why spend tons of money on luxury cosmetics when the drugstore has unlimited options? Here a list of all the drugstore beauty products that stars used for the Golden Globes.

The iconic 83-year old actress and staunch activist was this year's recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille Award for her contributions to the movie industry. For her hair, Hairstylist Jonathan Hanousek shares with Allure that he washed Fonda's hair with L'Oréal Paris Ever Pure Purple Shampoo to brighten her naturally silver hair. Before blow-drying, he used L'Oréal Paris BLOW DRY IT Quick Dry Primer Spray to protect Fonda's hair and hasten the drying process.

For styling, he used a medium-sized round brush and L'Oréal Paris Volume Inject Mousse. He topped the hairstyle off with L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Air Volume Dry Shampoo and the classic L'Oreal Paris Elnett Extra Hold Volume Hairspray. 

Emmy award-winning makeup artist David De Leon went all out with L'Oréal Paris beauty products to complete Fonda's makeup. De Leon prepped Fonda's skin with L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Rosy Tone Moisturizer and applied L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation.

For dramatic eyes, he L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Satin Glide Eyeliner and L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara. To top it all off, De Leon applied L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Radiant Satin Blush in Marigold on her cheeks and used L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Satin Lipstick in Pink Petal. For the Best Actress nominee, InStyle reports that Viola Davis' makeup artist Autumn Moultrie also went with L'Oréal Paris. She prepped Davis' skin with L'Oréal Paris' Revitalift Derm Intensives 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

For her makeup base, Moultrie used L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation, Radiant Concealer with Hydrating Serum and topped it off with Creamy Powder Foundation with Minerals. For the eyes, Moultrie went for subtle with L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Satin Glide Eyeliner and L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara. To finish Davis' look, she applied Anti-Feathering Lip Liner and Age Perfect Satin Lipstick.

Celebrity makeup artist Allan Avendaño used popular drugstore brand E.L.F. Cosmetics for Sarah Hyland's Golden Globe appearance. To complement Hyland's new auburn hair and bold red gown, Avendaño tells Bustle that he went with a classic shimmery eye and subtle lips. For the makeup base, he used the Camo CC Cream, Hydrating Camo Concealer and Matte Setting Powder.

To sculpt her cheeks, applied the Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee. For Hyland's eyes, Avendaño used the Putty Eye Primer in Rose, Mint Melt Eyeshadow Palette in Chocolate Mint, Mint Melt Eyeshadow Stick in Melt With Me and Ice Cream. He topped the look off with the Lash It Loud Mascara.

Elle Fanning

Byrdie reports that Elle Fanning's Old Hollywood-inspired makeup was courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Erin Ayanian Monroe. For Fanning's otherworldly glow, Monroe applied L'Oréal Paris Glow Mon Amour Highlight Drops after her foundation and concealer from the same drugstore brand. Fanning also sported voluminous lashes thanks to Air Volume Mega Mascara.
