Hormonal Imbalance

Women who experience hormonal imbalance not only experience adult acne and weight gain but may also suffer from thinning hair. 

Since hormones such as estrogen and progesterone play an essential part in regulating hair growth, the decline of its level may trigger slow hair growth, making it look limp and thin. 

Vitamin Deficiency

Lack of iron and vitamin B12 may also lead to hair loss since 

iron is an essential element for producing hair cell protein, while B12 produces oxygen-rich red blood cells that promote healthy hair growth.
