Kat Von D tied the knot with Leafar Seyer for the second time in a red wedding dress, obviously ditching the too-common white gown.
The red wedding dress with train was created by Adolfo Sanchez, and it was matched with a red veil that was a nod to the goth theme of the event. To complement her look, red horns were placed in Von D's head, much like it was popping out of her crown.
Von D opted for some shimmery eye shadow and added her usual winged eyeliner. Her lipstick was a matte bright red, with the overall look giving a burlesque-y, goth-y vibe.
Clearly, the tattoo artist and the Prayers band vocalist aren't a fan of traditional wedding favors as well as the dark motif that spelled goth in every possible way. While those who don't know Von D and Seyer may tout this moment as an eyebrow-raising, fans of the couple would find nothing unusual about the husband and wife's choices for their special day.
Wedding Invites
The invitation sent out to guests was nothing short of perfection in terms of its adherence to the theme. The eerie invites were written with "en vida y en muerte," "in life and in death" in English, and above this is an inverted cross. Upon opening the box is a black skull again with an inverted cross. On the other side are the details of the wedding embossed in gold.
The team behind Kat Von D Beauty also created a one-of-a-kind lipstick that was given to wedding guests. The owner said the black lipstick with gold glitters won't be for sale.
Red Carnations
A day prior to their big day, Von D posted a photo of three red carnations with matching red metallic mirror nails, so people have already seen her red dress coming. The flowers were Seyer's favorite, and the number represents her, the musician, and the impending bundle of joy.
"Tomorrow, @prayers and I will have our wedding ceremony for our close friends + family. This has been the sweetest, most stress-free experience where we continuously fell in love with each other all over again with each day counting down," Von D wrote.
Both Von D and Seyer shared in social media their happiness over what transpired, the second time the two got married, the first one being in February. In April, the two shared the save-the-date bracelets given to their guests. These were engraved with "6-2-2018," and the beauty said these were designed by her husband.
